Enjoy a taste of the Mediterranean by attending the 2010 Fall Greek Food Festival, hosted by the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 32 East Ross Street (near the Wilkes-Barre Post Office) in Wilkes-Barre from Thursday, October 7th to Saturday, October 9th from 11:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. daily. An assortment of Greek food and pastries, including gyros, stuffed grape vine leaves, spinach pies, baklava, galaktoboureko, and others, will be available for eat-in or take-out purchases. Orders more than $30 will be delivered free within a 2 mile radius of the church. In addition, there will be entertainment including Greek dancing, videos, and music. Greek t-shirts, aprons and other ethnic products will also be sold.
