The Athenaeum Music and Arts Library continues its summer tradition with a series of four performances by world-renowned pianist and San Diego native, Gustavo Romero. Each summer since 1999, he has dazzled audiences with his extraordinary mastery of works by a particular composer. This year, Romero takes his audience on an exploration of Romantic composer, Robert Schumann, a composer with a remarkable and tragic life, noted for the poetic nature of his work.
