Habitat Restoration Day December 6, 2009

We need your help! The refuge will be holding a large volunteer restoration day on Sunday, December 6th. We will plant a large number of trees and understory vegetation in an area formerly dominated by eucalyptus. Humboldt Bay NWR will have all plants and tools on hand the day of the event. Plants will be laid out where they need to be planted so younger children can easily participate.
