Haiti 5k Relief Run/Walk for the Victims of the Earthquake

The event will take place January 30th at the Old Fairgrounds Park on Calumet in Valparaiso. The race will start at 8:00 am and go until 12:00 pm. There is no entrance fee for people to participate, but donations are highly encouraged. Donations made the day of the race will be collected starting at 7:30am. Receipts are available upon request. Refreshments will follow. ALL proceeds will be donated to CARE, Cooperative for Assistance and Relief Everywhere, Inc. http://www.care.org, who is deploying response teams to distribute food and provide immediate aid.
