Handel's Messiah December 4, 2011

Columbia Pro Cantare will present its annual holiday performance of Handel’s Messiah on Sunday, December 4, 2011, 7:30 pm, at the Jim Rouse Theatre, Columbia. The chorus and orchestra under the direction of Frances Motyca Dawson will be joined by acclaimed guest soloists soprano Amy Van Roekel, mezzo MaryAnn McCormick, tenor Charles Reid, and baritone Lester Lynch. A free pre-concert lecture will begin at 6:30, and a reception to meet the artists will follow the concert.
