January 2013 - Harriman State Park - Free Ski Day
Have you always wanted to try nordic skiing or want to take your family but can't afford to? Want to learn how to build a survival snow cave? Take advantage of Free Ski day in January. The Idaho Falls Nordic Ski Patrol will be at the park offering lessons to those that want to learn the basics to Nordic skiing. A guided ski tour will be offered that will take you up the River Trail to the Historic Ranch. The Historic Jones House will be open to go inside and warm up, and hot drinks will be available there.
