NEXT NEW NETWORKS and TUMBLR invite you to the most epic Rock Band party the world will ever know.

Rock Band Showdown starts at 9pm, live music follows by The Vettes and Brenn.

Come watch some of your favorite SXSW attendees face off playing Rock Band at the Cedar Street Courtyard. Announced bands so far:

OVERHEARD (Casey McKinnon, Bonny Pierzina, Veronica Belmont, Leah Culver)

EPIC AND THE FAILS (Tantek Celik, Sean Bonner, Micki Krimmel, Rudy Jahchan)

PETTY INTERNET CRIMES (Zadi Diaz, Doug Sarine, Sarah Atwood, Steve Woolf)

SXSW showcase bands THE VETTES and BRENN, and Rockband soundtrack artists FREEZEPOP will take the stage to close out the night!
