HIAS/CARECEN Cultural Exchange Event September 11, 2011

Please fill out this form to sign up for the HIAS / CARECEN Cultural Exchange Party and Awards Ceremony, which will take place at 5pm on Sunday, September 11th at Don Juan's Restaurant in Mount Pleasant (1660 Lamont Street NW). This will be an evening of food, music, arts & crafts, and cultural exchange. We will celebrate the accomplishments of CARECEN students and the contributions of HIAS volunteers, and we will award two students with subsidies for their citizenship exams. The event will also feature commemoration of September 11th, and the recent loss of our dear colleague and friend Saul Solorzano. Whether you are a long-time volunteer or are just interested in learning more about the HIAS/CARECEN partnership -- please join us!
