Hillbarn Theatre and the Foster City Library present the next "Barn Talks" on Monday, October 17th as we examine the life and career of opera legend Maria Callas. From her triumphs at La Scala to her flamboyant private life, Callas commanded the stage and all who adored her. She is the subject of Hillbarn Theatre's play "Master Class," performing October 10th - November 6th.
Greg Sudmeier, Hillbarn Theatre Music Director, will moderate an evening featuring Marc Jacobs, Co-Director of the Music Theatre Conservatory at California State University East Bay, who attended a real life Maria Callas master class at Julliard.
"Barn Talks" will be held Monday, October 17th 7 -8 PM in the Port Room at the Foster City Library (1000 East Hillsdale Blvd). Admission is free and refreshments will be served. A drawing will take place to win tickets to see Hillbarn Theatre’s "Master Class," the Tony winning play about a Maria Callas master class.
"Barn Talks" are a series of discussion evening centered around the themes and creators of America's greatest stage works.
