The second edition of HIT WEEK Brings Another Phenomenal cast of Italian Musicians to LOS ANGELES in October 2010.

Los Angeles audiences are invited to the beautiful outdoor Ford Amphitheatre on October 14th as KCRW presents the most popular musician you’ve probably never heard of, renowned pianist
LUDOVICO EINAUDI. Einaudi blends evocative piano Minimalism with almost Impressionist touches of ambient electronica, strings, and percussion. But Einaudi is neither a conventional classical composer nor an electronica artist; and this is the reason his name is not better known in America…yet.

On Friday October 15th the Ford also presents multi platinum Italian singer ELISA whose ballad “Dancing” was recently featured on “So You Think You Can Dance.” That song, and the album “Then Comes the Sun” entered the iTunes top 20 single chart both in North America.

Also on the bill on October 15 are the young, sultry alt pop duo LA BLANCHE ALCHIMIE (LBA). They are critically acclaimed for a remarkable live show that brings to life the hypnotic and decaying atmosphere of their songs.

October 14 - Ludovico Einaudi at 7.30pm. October 15 - La Blanche Alchimie at 8.20pm, Elisa at 9.30pm.
