Snow machines, strutting horse-drawn carriages, crafts people, Santa Claus and more are highlights of the annual Holiday Tree Lighting and Wine Stroll on November 23 in the Saratoga Village on Big Basin Way. The event will run from 5-9 PM and is hosted by the Saratoga Chamber of Commerce. Be sure to go to the wine stroll-- with over 20 wineries participating. Walk down to the Saratoga Historical Park and visit the Saratoga History Museum at 20450 Saratoga-Los Gatos Road. The Saratoga History Museum is offering a free special holiday exhibit, “Santa’s Workshop—Remembering Favorite Toys”; live music; light refreshments and the opportunity to whisper your request for Christmas in Santa’s ear. Santa Claus will be at the Museum supervising his workshop. Both the Museum and the historic McWilliams House will be decorated in period style for Christmas. Bring an unwrapped toy to donate for the Sacred Heart Community Service for children in need. The Museum gift shop is brimming with vintage glass and other special gifts for the holidays
