Holistic Life Coaching Training & Certification October 17, 2012

Local business, Radiant Health Institute, LLC, hosts a 5-day Holistic Life Coaching training & certification course at Therapeutic Nutritional Services at 213 Overlook Circle, Suite B3, Brentwood (37027) from October 17-21, 2012 (9am-6pm each day). Holistic Life Coaching is one of the globe's fastest growing careers. This curriculum is developed by trainers Dez Stephens, Randy Shreve and Michael Misenheimer. Training includes 40 hours of hands-on intensive trainings, 20 hours of home-based work, 20 hours of practicums, and job placement support. Participants choose specialties including Holistic Wellness Coaching, Intuitive Life Coaching, Business Coaching, Love Coaching, Art Therapy Coaching, Grief Coaching, Teen Coaching, Career Coaching, etc. This certification program allows experts to enhance what they are already doing to further support their clients.

Training includes learning the art of active listening, boundaries & body language, coaching vs. counseling, holistic paradigms, self-discovery, creating sacred spaces, taking the client's lead, asking vs. telling, goals & accountability, authenticity & presence, setting up a private practice, and self-marketing.

This holistic life coaching course is ideal for social workers, counselors, nutritionists, wellness practitioners, health aficionados, entrepreneurs, job seekers, professionals and small business owners. Participants learn to enhance business performance, communication skills, overall confidence, smart decision making, personal development, conflict resolution and goal setting.

Dez Stephens has been a certified life coach since 2005 and is founder of Radiant Health Institute that trains and certifies holistic life coaches. She is a master trainer & marketing strategist who is known for her great insight and compassionate support. Dez has over 2,000 coaching hours under her belt and knows the ins-and-outs of life coaching - both at the freelance level and in group settings. Randy Shreve is a Certified Holistic Life Coach and is a passionate student of the human condition. To gain a broader educational perspective, he completed TWO wonderful but distinctly different life coach training programs (one through Radiant Health Institute and another through Martha Beck, Inc.) Randy teaches a popular life coaching class for the Odyssey program at Nashville’s Room In The Inn, assisting homeless participants navigate the path back to “normal” life. He is a co-facilitator for Radiant Health Institute’s holistic life coach training program and is a regular speaker at the Tennessee Spirit Fest conference. Michael Misenheimer has touched and changed the lives of many through his peacemaking work. He is dedicated to assisting people in resolving and healing conflicts. Many clients - whether coaching or mediation - have reported increased emotional and spiritual well-being, deeper inner peace and a renewed passion for life after working with Michael. Michael holds a BA in Psychology. He has also completed his coursework for an MA in Negotiation, Conflict Resolution & Peacebuilding. His PhD in Philosophy with an emphasis in Holistic Life Coaching is currently pending approval. Michael is also a 3rd year law student and upon graduation, he hopes to combine his love for coaching and law to practice law from a more holistic perspective.
