Holy Oak Book Club Reading Series presents Bonnie Bowman February 26, 2011

The Holy Oak Book Club is thrilled to welcome Bonnie Bowman as the featured reader for its 9th installment.

She will be reading from her book, Spaz. Read the book beforehand or just come to hear the reading. Everyone is welcome.

Drinks and casual conversation start around 7pm, a reading by Bonnie around 7:30pm and discussion (and more drinks!) until around 8:30pm.

The Holy Oak Cafe serves delicious coffee and teas, and boasts a selection of fine beers, wines and liquors.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Bonnie Bowman’s debut novel, Skin, won the inaugural ReLit Award. Her writing has been published in subTerrain, The Vancouver Review, Reader’s Digest, and in the anthologies Exact Fare Only I and Body Breakdowns. Bonnie is also a songwriter, journalist, freelance writer and has been a finalist for the Western Magazine Awards. She was born in Toronto, where she now lives after a longish stint in Vancouver. Spaz is her second novel.
