Home Sweet Home, Parlor Music of a Gentler Time March 1, 2009

Red Cedar Chamber Music’s Rural Outreach program, in collaboration with Chamber Music Society Fairfield, presents Home Sweet Home at The MainStay Inn, 300 North Main Street, in Fairfield, Iowa at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 1, 2009.

New York-based, guest cellist Loretta O’Sullivan joins Red Cedar Chamber Music’s flutist Jan Boland and guitarist John Dowdall to perform 19th-century American parlor music of beloved 19th-century composer Stephen Collins Foster and his contemporaries on instruments from the period.
