Iditarod Restart March 8, 2009

Watch as mushers take off across Willow Lake on their 1000 mile journey by dog sled to Nome. See and hear these amazing sled dogs screaming to go. It's a fun day for the whole family to spend in the outdoors. Vendors offer food and drink as well as all sorts of merchandise. There will even be short sled rides available. The race starts at 2, but folks start arriving hours before to meet old friends and just enjoy the community. Shuttle service is available from Anchorage, Wasilla and Talkeetna. Come join the fun!
