Developed with the Content Standards for California Public Schools in mind, this workshops support a variety of lessons in Physical and Life Sciences. Fundamental concepts are covered in each workshop such as: similarities and differences in the appearance and behavior of plants and animals and how to identify major structures of plants and animals. Each workshop comes complete with a take-away teacher's guide filled with crafts, activities and further resources that can be utilized to reinforce the lessons taught during the visit.
