This exhibit features black-on-black paintings that Rothko made in 1964 in connection with his work on a chapel for the Menil Collection in Houston. A recording of Morton Feldman's Rothko Chapel (1971), the haunting music originally composed for that space, accompanies the exhibition in the spacious East Building Tower Gallery. A new 10-minute film examines the career of Rothko and his development of a style that fused abstract painting with emotional significance. Produced by the National Gallery of Art, the film will be shown continuously in the Tower Gallery.

not sure yet. Ritz Carlton looks nice.
I'll be in the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel - http://googlemapslink.com/f71f87. Also, thanks for bringing this conference to the Southeast! We really need more events down here.
I'm looking at the Sheraton, but not 100% sure yet.
I booked rooms for us at the Sheraton. We'll be coming up the night before in case anyone wants to meet up.
When I first got the information on the conference it was showing a price of $299.00 (which is shown above) but now it shows $399.00?
Hmm... a typo methinks. Regular Badges are $199. The Platinum badges are $399 and those get you into the exclusive sessions.
Anyone know if people are meeting up the night before?
Good question. I know me and my coworkers will be in town around 7p or so. Would be interested in meeting up with folks for a bit. Twitter: @cdharrison
So it sounds like Blue Flavor is throwing the closing party!

will be in town the night before.. Looking to watch the Brewers vs. Phillies game, anybody want to join?
Looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones. @ifxartka - Phllies v. Brewers gets trumped in my book by Biden v. Palin.
@aarron Yeah, definitely have to watch the VP debate.
