Since 1985, MTA Arts for Transit has been one of the country's most innovative public art programs, creating over 215 projects for the stations and facilities of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, with another 70 currently in production. In celebration of its 25th anniversary, this exhibition examines the art, artists and impact of this rich and varied body of work.

On behalf on the Entertainment Network, we thank you for the opportunity to introduce “PAT LONGO and his HOLLYWOOD BIG BAND” who will be performing March 12th at the Hollywood Palladium.
Pat and his world-renowned band has taken the big band sounds of the swing area and up dated them to 2011 by using contemporary arrangements of classic standards by the “new breed” of composers and arrangers. The Pat Longo Hollywood Big Band is well known as a versatile, disciplined ensemble of impeccable musicianship. All the musicians possess exquisite musical tastes, virtuoso technique and thundering power and play music that will stir all generations. The Band is considered as one of the “Great Dance Bands, Concert & Show bands” throughout the country, and an entertaining venue for any concert you may be planning. The band is made up of Hollywood’s premium studio musicians and takes pride in spotlighting the wide-range of musical styles which contemporary big bands are called upon to perform – from jazz to Latin, Broadway to rock, while maintaining traditional big band roots. The following are just a few of the entertainers the band has accompanied: Tony Bennett, Rod Stewart, Frank Sinatra JR, Sarah Vaughan and Neil Diamond. In addition, they could be heard in several scenes from “The Sopranos”. The band has also been featured at the Academy Awards Governor’s Ball.
