Introduction to Reiki October 23, 2007

Reiki is the ancient art of energy work that is used to heal the body naturally. Rediscovered early last century by a Japanese professor, D. Mikao Usui, Reiki is a means of self-healing for people, animals, plants and the planet. Susan Beverly, Master of Liberal Arts, has been a practicing Reiki Master since 2001. Ms. Beverly will give an introductory talk about Reiki for those who are familiar with it and those who may be interested in receiving Reiki training in the future. If you've never heard of Reiki, Susan will also be giving a demonstration of a Reiki treatment, as well as answering questions. There will also be resource books and a sign up list for a Reiki Level One class and attunement. Ms. Beverly received her Reiki training at Carroll County General Hospital's Women's Center from Reiki Master Mr. Michael Smith.
