Groundbreaking and Reception for the new J. S. Bracewell Neighborhood Library. The new J. S. Bracewell Neighborhood Library will replace the existing Bracewell Neighborhood Library. This new library facility will increase the size of the library, offering more resources as well as additional space to the community. The event will be held on Monday, March 23, 2009 at 11:00 am with Council Member Michael Sullivan, District E and Dr. Rhea Brown Lason, Director of the Houston Public Library speaking at the new site, 9002 Kingspoint Dr., 77089. This event is free and open to the public.

The new J. S. Bracewell Neighborhood Library will replace the existing Bracewell Neighborhood Library. This new library facility will increase the size of the library, offering more resources as well as additional space to the community. The current Bracewell Neighborhood Library is located at 10115 Kleckley, 77075. The construction of the new building is expected to be completed by the end of 2009.
