PRIZES:$12 to 1st for each section of every 4 Players.

ROUND TIMES: Round 1 - 1:30 pm, Round 2 - 3:00 pm, Round 3 - 4:30 pm.

USCF Membership Required(see www.uschess.org)for fee.
USCF Memberships available on site as well.

We have provided for rated USCF scholastic tournaments for the school age chess player, K through 12th grade and we have provided for rated open chess tournaments (for all ages). Adults are welcome to compete as well.

From Jan 1, 2008 Thru May 1, 2008(1st Four Months of 2008) the LVCA has Paid Out Advertized Prizes of more than $1500 plus Monthly $20 Chess Book Drawings and Free Monthly Pizza and Donuts to Entrants in our events.
