Jazz Ensemble November 12, 2010

The McIntire Department of Music presents the UVA Jazz Ensemble under the direction of trumpeter John D’earth on Friday, November 12th at 8pm in Old Cabell Hall. The UVA Jazz Ensemble explores all facets of the jazz tradition performing contemporary jazz arrangements as well as standard big band literature. Stay tuned for further guest artist and musical firsts from this dynamic and dedicated group of musicians.

The Jazz Ensemble will present a winter concert on Saturday February 26th 2011 and a spring concert on Saturday April 16th, 2011.

Tickets are $10 for Adults and $5 for Students and free for UVA students who purchase tickets at least one day in advance.
