The McIntire Department of Music presents the UVA Jazz Ensemble under the direction of trumpeter John D’earth on Saturday, April 16th, 2011 at 8pm, in Old Cabell Hall. The UVA Jazz Ensemble explores all facets of the jazz tradition performing contemporary jazz arrangements as well as standard big band literature.
Tickets are $10 for Adults and $5 for Students and free for UVA students who purchase tickets at least one day in advance. Tickets may be purchased at The University of Virginia Arts Box Office, (434) 924-3376, 12:00-5:00p.m. weekdays in the lobby of the UVA Drama Building at 109 Culbreth Road, or on-line at www.artsboxoffice.virginia.edu
