JIMMY THACKERY & THE DRIVERS AND THE PETE KARNES BLUES BAND November 11, 2012

The North Central Florida Blues Society is proud to announce that Jimmy Thackery & the Drivers will play the High Dive (formerly Common Grounds and Double Down Live) at 210 SW 2nd Ave in downtown Gainesville Sunday, November 11. The show will open with the Pete Karnes Blues Band at 7 pm.

Jimmy Thackery has been acclaimed as one of the hottest live acts around, with his jaw-dropping performances becoming the stuff of legend. Simply put, when it comes to blues rock guitar playing, Thackery has proven over 40 years that he is one of the very best in the world.

The Pete Karnes Blues Band is fronted by Pete Karnes, a world-renowned blues harp player who has recorded with John Lee Hooker and performed with Muddy Waters, BB King, Big Walter Horton, Lightning™ Slim, and Willie Dixon, among others.
