During his career, Mr. Cash performed on the Paramount stage twice, and it is a fitting tribute that it is celebrated here with Shade Jonze (aka Henry Phillips) a South Whitely, IN resident, and Shannon Persinger, from Fort Wayne, who created this show two years ago as a tribute to "The Man in Black." The two hour show features Johnny Cash tunes from the mid '50s to the time of his death in 2003 mixed with songs of his friends like Patsy Cline, Elvis Presley, Roger Miller, Waylon and Willie as well as more recent artists such as Josh Turner, Carrie Underwood, Heidi Newfield ("Johnny and June") and Gretchen Wilson. Well-known rockabilly guitarist Kenny Taylor is also part of the show.
