Joys of Hiking May 27, 2010

Joys Of Hiking will be an interesting presentation on Joys of Hiking will be given by board members of the North Jersey Ramapo Chapter of the Adirondack Mountain club. They will share basics from proper clothing, using maps and hiking areas. The presentation features an in-depth discussion about how to get started hiking and exploring trails in the Hudson Valley and northern New Jersey. They will cover details of a typical hike using GPS, maps and dressing appropriately for the weather. A photo show of some of the area's beautiful mountain peaks, rivers and valleys will be included.
