Juke Joint Fridays at TC's Lounge presents: ALBERT COLLINS' BIRTHDAY PARTY October 1, 2010

We’re celebrating the birthday of one of the kings of Texas Blues. He would have been 78 years old, and passed too soon. He had a very distinct style, sounded like nobody else, had a great sense of humor, and was an amazing showman. We’re joined once again by our good friend Orange Jefferson and Austin Hall of Famer Hosea Hargrove…and we’ll all play a couple Albert tunes. Come on out, you won’t hear anything like it anywhere else in town.
