KDW Summer Festival June 18, 2011

Carlin Park, KDW festival will take place on June 18th 2011. The tournament is running strong for three years with unprecedented success!
The tournament is all about fishing, family fun and enjoying the start of summer. You can experience a day of adventure at Carlin Park in Jupiter beginning at 8am. Come visit the Discount Marine Marketplace, the Greater Yamaha Seafood Village and the Kids fun Zone. Starting at 5pm, it’s time to kick it into high gear. There will be performances from Ed Kowalczyk from the band “Live, The Nouveaux Honkies, James Wesley and Emily Brooke.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit Forgotten Soldiers Outreach. They will also have a 50/50 raffle. Their mission is to support our servicemen and women of the United States Military, who are currently deployed in countries overseas. The volunteers of this organization prepare and ship “We Care” packages on a monthly basis to registered individuals, squadrons, battalions and hospitals. Each “We Care” package includes snacks and treats, hygiene products, comfort items, and letters of encouragement.
