Synopsis - The internet is rapidly evolving to play a central role in society, transforming social, cultural, economic and political landscapes.

The benefits are clear, but are societies equipped to keep pace with the consequences of our increasing reliance on this technology?

Join our expert panel to explore these issues and put your own questions to them. Discussion will be chaired by Justin Webb, Presenter on Radio 4's Today Programme.

Speakers:
(1) Dr Aleks Krotoski PhD - Academic, journalist and host of the Guardian Tech Weekly podcast, and BBC2 The Virtual Revolution. Aleks writes about and studies technology and interactivity.

(2) Ben Hammersley - Prime Minister’s Ambassador to TechCity & Editor-at-large, WIRED magazine. He helps people understand the mordern world, the internet and where it is taking us.

(3) Nick Harkaway - Author of The Gone-Away World, Angelmaker and the forthcoming non-fiction book The Blind Giant, which will examine technology's influence on politics, society and commerce.
