Kids' Stress – Dr. Colin D. Sturdy

Kids in our society are inundated with stress - as adults, we are not fully aware of the multitude of sources of this stress. This session will provide tremendous insights into these sources, including global/world, emotional and responsibility issues. This will include consideration of EQAO tests and the impact of the "Hurried Child Syndrome".

A comprehensive 'Kids' Stress Test' will be presented that will permit participants to determine the stress level of one of their children. Additionally, participants will be provided with 15 strategies for helping their children deal/cope with stress.

It is an eye-opening session that will prove to be a valuable 1 1/4 hour investment! CDs of the Kids' Stress session will be available for purchase.

Dr. Sturdy has over 27 years teaching experience, including 10 years as a former school principal. In addition to being a professional speaker, he is a father, coach, and community volunteer. He resides in Toronto, Ontario.
