Islington Giving is a campaign – for Islington people by Islington people – to raise £3million over three years for innovative new ways to tackle poverty by investing in young people, confronting isolation and promoting volunteering.
The campaign is a coalition of charitable trusts, The Breadsticks Foundation, Cripplegate Foundation, The Morris Charitable Trust, Richard Cloudesley’s Charity, UnLtd and Voluntary Action Islington who want to work together in a unique and powerful partnership, using their knowledge of Islington to effect real change.
Islington Giving is a restricted fund of Cripplegate Foundation. It has already raised £540,000 since its launch in September 2010 through the contributions of its coalition members and from trusts and donations. The infrastructure of the campaign is supported by Cripplegate Foundation and it reports to a board of coalition members.
