Lady Bird Lake Cleanup with Keep Austin Beautiful February 9, 2013

Join Keep Austin Beautiful for the first Lady Bird Lake cleanup of 2013! Cleanups of the lake happen every other month throughout the year and offer a wide range of locations to clean. If you're looking to get out on the lake on a kayak or paddle board, sign up for one of our waterway cleanup sites! If you would like to bring your family or stay dry, sign up for a shoreline site!

Also, prepare to go on a hunt for the most unique piece of trash to enter in the Most Unusual Item contest. A prize is awarded to the contest winner, plus all volunteers receive a gift certificate to Whole Earth Provisions.

On-the-Water volunteers should be 16 or older and be comfortable around water.
