“Laffs on the Harbor” to feature the newest, most innovative independent stand-up comedy in the D.C. metro area.



WHAT: The Executive Producer of HBO’s Def Comedy Jam, Bob Sumner, is pleased to invite you to the opening night of “Laffs on the Harbor,” September 8, 2009 at Bobby McKey’s Dueling Piano Bar at The National Harbor.



Sumner has been a pioneer in bringing comedy to the forefront. He believes that anything new and fresh is “hot” and this is one of the key elements that is going to make “Laffs on the Harbor” unique in D.C. “Everything from the elements of the venue, the atmosphere, and the producers, will all contribute its success” Sumner said. He envisions that the utilization of a piano at Bobby McKey’s will create a soulful perspective which has never been seen or done before.



WHO: Executive Producer of HBO’s Def Comedy Jam, Bob Sumner, brings a collection of hot comics to the Nation’s Capitol for a night of laughs, music and a few surprises. D.C.’s local elite, professional athletes, celebrities and VIPs will be in attendance.
