This was lots of fun. Best performance will have to go to The Sugarhill Gang. Worst, probably MC Hammer. WTF is up with "Cha Cha Cha"? No one wants to hear that song.

MC Hammer rocked the house and even allowed runners to join him on stage to dance. (I'll be posting my footage on U-Tube soon) I thought he put on a great performance that lasted almost 45 min. The only problem was there was no shade after the race. They should really think about putting up pop up tents next time. And this year they were severing beer, which most races do, but they were charging for it. Who runs with money in their pockets??

The entire event was absolutely wonderful!! All the performances and performers were great and motivating, it made the run much easier. I especially appreciated MC Hammer because I was one of the fortunate ones that he allowed upon the stage(Thanks MC Hammer)...The actual run theme was old school, and all the performers were old school so I think MC Hammer's "cha cha" song was appropriate and very fun. One thing I Love, was that the entire event went off without a hitch and very smooth for such a large crowd..Hat's off to you Nike for a job well done. I'm looking forward to the upcoming run on Sept 24th. I hope it will be just as much fun and entertaining as this one...I'll now be "runnin" Nike events for life.
