Learning From Teens March 22, 2011

On four Tuesdays beginning March 22 from 6:30-8pm, the Reverend Karin R. Mitchell, a Hightstown resident, the Rector of St. David’s Episcopal Church, Cranbury, with Ms, Nikki Burks, will lead a study at the church, 90 South Main Street, Cranbury,  sponsored by the Episcopal Diocese of New Jersey on  “Almost Christian: What the Faith of our Teenagers is Telling the American Church” by Princeton Theoiogical Seminary professor, Dr. Kenda Creasy Dean.  “Almost Christian” investigates why American teenagers are positive about Christianity and at the same time so apathetic about genuine religious practice. The study will follow a simple dinner. There is no expense except the $16 cost of the book. Those interested in attending should call the church office at 609-655-4731.
