LECRAE
Born and raised by his single mother in Southern Houston, Texas, Lecrae moved often in his early life living in San Diego, Denver, and Dallas. Moore discovered rapping as a musical outlet to help him convey his feelings to others. Christianity did not enter his life until after he had graduated from high school.

When he was 19, a Christian leader encouraged him to attend a conference where he heard James G. White speak. Because of this, he became passionate for Christianity. His strong religious conviction led him to print his testimony and pass it out across the University of North Texas campus. The next five years included many struggles and victories.[citation needed]

After graduating from the University of North Texas, Lecrae lived in Dallas. There he volunteered at a juvenile detention center and began working on his debut album. At the age of 25 he co-founded Reach Records, and released his first album, called Real Talk.

Lecrae co-founded ReachLife Ministries in 2005 to help reform urban culture. The non-profit organization exists to help equip local Christian leaders with tools and media projects that are culturally relevant and based on the teachings of the Bible.

Lecrae now resides in Atlanta, GA with his wife and children. He continues to rap, and frequently collaborates with Reach Records artists and the 116 Clique.

MATT PAPA
Matt Papa is a minister and Christian recording artist based out of Raleigh, North Carolina where he lives with his wife, Lauren, and two daughters, Paisley and Stella. He serves on staff as a worship leader at The Summit Church in Durham and is currently finishing a masters degree at Southeastern Seminary. For over a decade, Matt has been writing and recording songs that are saturated with God’s Word. To Papa, a song is more than just lyrics and melody – it’s a sermon people will remember.

HUMBLE TIP
Humble Tip, performed more than 50 shows in 2011, touring in support of his third full-length album, S.H.O.C.K. (See How Our Culture Kills). In between official releases, Lewis released a quartet of mixtapes—his debut alone registering more than 3,000 downloads, and composed Liberty’s official university anthem, which is approaching 80,000 YouTube views.

Although he’s already rocked the stage at a number of national music festivals, including Cornerstone (Bushnell, IL), Soul Fest (Gilford, NH), Hip-Hop Festival (Newark, NJ) and Family and Faith Day (Bowling Green, KY), Lewis said his blueprint for success remains the same as it did in Lynchburg.

“I want people to leave a Humble Tip concert entertained and encouraged about their purpose in life,” he said.
