Lecture Ways Series: Ways of Listening Part 1 May 4, 2009

The Shaker Arts Council’s (SHAC) Lecture/Ways program presents its inaugural lecture series Ways of Listening in collaboration with and at the Hanna Perkins Center.

Merry Peckham’s May 4 talk, entitled In the Beginning.... The Birth of the String Quartet Through the Eyes of a Cellist, will offer an audio tour of some of the greatest masterpieces of Western Art. All of the series speakers are residents of Shaker Heights, faculty members of the Cleveland Institute of Music (CIM) and members of the Cavani String Quartet The series will continue Monday evenings May 11 and May 18.

Tickets are available at the door. Seating is limited.
