As a concert soloist, McCawley can frequently be heard with the London Philharmonic, Philharmonia and Royal Philharmonic Orchestras, the City of Birmingham Symphony, Bournemouth Symphony, Halle and Royal Scottish National Orchestra. Regularly broadcast BBCRadio 3, with the BBC Orchestras as well as in recital, he has performed at the BBC Proms several times as well as numerous orchestras worldwide.
