It might be snowing with a little help from a few snow machines when the Saratoga Chamber of Commerce holds a Wine Stroll from 5-8 PM, Friday November 23, in Saratoga Village.
According to Scott Anderson, Wine Stroll Chair, “What better way to spend the day after Thanksgiving than with a stroll around historic Saratoga Village while sipping some of the great local wines. The Saratoga Village will be decorated for the holidays with many events taking place. It will be a great way to get into the holiday spirit.”
Over 15 wineries will be pouring some of their finest wines including Cinnabar, Cooper-Garrod Estate Vineyards, Uncorked, House Family Winery, Mountain Winery, Charles Usher Winery, Ruthe Roberts Vintners Collective, Burrell School Winery, Guglielmo Winery, Coterie Cellars, and Mica Cellars to mention a few. A wide variety of special, local wines will be offered for sampling with some offering special purchase prices.
Other activities will include the annual tree lighting, free horse-drawn carriage rides, a variety of craft vendors, food trucks offering tempting food, strolling musicians, a visit with Santa Claus, and a host of holiday activities from 5:30 to 8:00 PM.
The cost to participate in the stroll is $40.00 and includes a complimentary wine glass. Be sure to buy your ticket before the event—the price will be $45.00 on the day of the event. Purchase your ticket by going up to www.saratoga-winestroll.com or call 1- 408-867-0753
