Join presenter Alfredo Zaparolli, president of Techlinea Inc for informative 1-hour presentation on new lighting technologies and techniques in lighting design. Techlinea Inc. is a San Francisco based consulting firm specializing in the design and specification of custom electrical, lighting, and systems integration for unique residential projects in the U.S. and abroad.

This presentation will look at whats new in lighting and control technologies, with a look at new products and techniques to create beautiful and creative lighting systems. You will be introduced to new wall box technology and new applications for controlling lighting for new and existing construction. New technology and techniques for using room controls vs. the individual lighting loads, new microprocessor based lighting control systems- Vantage, Lutron, Litetouch, Crestron, and Lightolier Controls will be discussed. There will be a review of new lamp technology, which produce more lumens and use less energy from incandescent, low voltage, HIR, cold cathode, fluorescent & LED to solar. An overview will also be provided of new fixture technology and techniques for designing with recessed lighting, cable and rail, accent lighting for direct indirect lighting and specialized products for unique lighting applications
