Lights On! Children's Street Painting! June 11, 2011

Turn on the Lights to Creativity! Bring the kids to Children’s Avenue street painting during our "Lights On!" exhibit and opening of the new Youth in Arts office in downtown San Rafael. Hands on free arts activities for kids!! Performances by award winning teen acapella troupe `Til Dawn. Wheelchair accessible!

Join Youth in Arts on June 11 and bring your young madonnari (Italian for street painters!) For a small fee, hundreds of children will create street paintings on C Street between 3rd and 4th from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM as part of our celebration of the Youth in Arts move to 917 C Street, San Rafael. You can also visit the gallery and retail space, and learn more about our projects, performances, and programs.
