Lightwriter Gallery Opening At F-11 Photographic Supplies May 1, 2009

The Wind Blows: A photographic tour through forgotten Montana. Images by Sean Heavey.

Born in Seattle, until three years ago photographer Sean Heavey had only ever driven through small towns. What started as a two month road trip became an unexpected adventure and an introduction to a new home town: Glendive, Montana. Rarely without his camera, Sean drives the dusty roads, walks the untamed lands, photographing the windblown spirit of Northeastern Montana.

A graduate of MSU and a former staff member of F-11 Photographic Supplies, Heavey is May's featured artist at F-11's Lightwriter Gallery. Come meet the artist, Friday May 1st from 4 to 6 PM in a reception hosted by F-11.

There will be a drawing for an opportunity to create a fine quality photobook from your images, a $29.95 value.
