Newer dietary approaches and the increasing investigation of functional foods have only enhanced the role diet plays in reducing heart disease risk. This class covers current evidence-based diet recommendations. The role of functional foods, supplements and physical activity in preventing heart disease will be discussed as well.
Knowing what is best for us and doing what is best for us can sometimes be challenging. This class will use the power of group interaction to help us uncover our obstacles and strategize the steps that make the most sense in moving towards better heart health.
Come and join this interactive class for taste testing, group discussion, and motivation to improve heart health!
