There’s something for everyone at the 2011 Macon County Fair, June 3-12. “155 years of family fun and traditions” will provide entertainment from fun carnival rides to exhibits to a variety of musical entertainment and fun food for everyone.

Each year thousands enjoy one of the oldest family county fairs in Illinois! Parking is FREE and admission to the fair is only $1. Park your car and catch a Free shuttle ride to the fair events area.

Harness races will be June 3-5. On Saturday, June 4 the IL Downstate Classic will start at noon ($3 admission).

The grandstand will offer family fun events from pageants to tractor and truck pulls to races. Friday, June 10, the Macon County Fair will spotlight Country Music Star, Josh Thompson. Saturday the Macon County Crossroads Concert will feature BrushFire and Riverbottom Nightmare Bands for only $5 ($4 in advance).

There will be plenty of FREE entertainment including: Elephant Encounter Shows, Illinois Raptor Center Shows, Kid’s Day events, Scovill Petting Zoo and enjoy the sounds of Mariah Henderson. Family Fun Day will host such events as a Mud Volleyball Tournament, Washer Toss Tourney and our First annual Arm Wrestling Tourney and Push Mower Races!
