The internationally acclaimed Mosaic Singers, sponsored by Ford Motor Company Fund, is celebrating ten tremendous years as one of Detroit’s cultural treasures with their Magnificat 10th Anniversary Concert, February 9 & 10, 2007, at The Max M. Fisher Music Center. The Mosaic Singers infuse Detroit’s soulful spirit into every performance and have brought countless audiences to their feet around the city, the country and as far away as London, England and Dakar, Senegal!
The Mosaic Singers have a magnetic energy that has drawn listeners in since 1996 and the Magnificat 10th Anniversary Concert is no exception. As their vibrant voices effortlessly shift from classical choir pieces, to rich gospel and spiritual works, and into compelling contemporary tunes, Mosaic’s distinctive style is felt in every song. Fresh world flavors will be added to their smorgasbord of sound with a second act featuring music from around the globe. Musical Director, and Mosaic alum, Kenneth Anderson will also highlight The Mosaic Singers’ most popular songs from the past ten years along with some of their most challenging pieces to date.
Catch these Detroit favorites at the Magnificat 10th Anniversary Concert held in The Music Box at The Max M.
