isn’t. Bob Dylan, Kris Kristofferson, Carole King, Guy Clark, Smokey Robinson and Joni Mitchell are alive
and American (wait, Mitchell is from Canada, so . . . nevermind), as are less popular but assuredly
compelling folks like Eric Taylor and David Olney.
