At the conclusion of this series you’ll have made over 15 samples of various sewing techniques that will be an invaluable reference for years to come! We have a limited number of machines so please let us know if you’ll be bringing your own so we can plan accordingly. PS - If you have your machine's manual bring it along, it could come in handy!

Week 3 - Man Up: Hardwear and Hand Sewing.
Learn how to sew on a button and a snap the right way. You’ll learn 3 hand sewing stitches and when it’s appropriate to use each of them. Backstitch, Running/Basting Stitch, and Whip Stitch. We’ll go over when to use specific thread types, hand sewing needles and the importance of finding the right thimble.
