Marc Black "Stroke of Genius" Film and Concert May 13, 2006

Marc Black's friend Dan Mountain, suffered such a massive stroke that after entering what appeared to be an irreversible coma, he was removed from life support. Not only did Dan astonish the world by coming back, he wrote poems that Marc found so moving he put them to music. Art Garfunkel, John Sebastian, Warren Bernhardt, The Dixie Hummingbirds and Steve Gadd joined Marc on the CD and Iranian American filmaker, Bahman Soltani, made a film documenting Mr. Mountain's struggle and his victory.

Unison is honored to present a sneak preview of the film followed by an inspiring set of music featuring Marc on vocals and guitar, along with the gypsy queen Betty MacDonald on violin and Mike Esposito on bass.
