Singer/songwriters Mark Kelly Hall and Charlsey Etheridge of Nashville, backed by versatile guitarist Dave Mohr, will bring their music to the Celtic Cup on Friday, May 7. The acoustic show begins at 6 pm......Hall & Etheridge perform in what might be called a “he-said, she-said” format, taking turns on sharing original tunes and “songs you already like.”.....Admission is free, but as always, sincere compliments, tips and lucrative recording and/or publishing contracts will be accepted......Mark Kelly Hall's songs reflect the spiritual heritage of the Bible-belt South, combined with a lifelong fascination with American pop culture. Since his years as a student at the University of Tennessee, church-related volunteer work has taken him and his guitar to Puerto Rico, Harlem, Hawaii, the Pacific Northwest, Minsk and, most recently, South Africa......Charlsey Etheridge offers a blend of folk, pop and blues reminiscent of Sheryl Crow with a nod to Billie Holiday. When she is not on stage herself, she is a fulltime music teacher, helping encourage future performers.
