INDIE BANDS ROCK THE STOOP CONCERT SERIES IN LANDMARK HELL’S KITCHEN CHURCH

Mary Bragg, Jeannine Hebb, & Paul Phillips Band bring Indie rock & roots to The Stoop, a distinctive Hell’s Kitchen Music Venue.

NEW YORK, New York – October 17, 2011 – The Stoop, a distinctive music venue in the heart of Hell’s Kitchen is gearing up for a night of a few of its favorite Indie and Americana bands. The three bands include Paul Phillips Band (8pm), Jeannine Hebb (9pm), and Mary Bragg (10pm).

USA Today says, “Bragg sings with graceful sorrow.” Mary Bragg serves up “Delectable folk-pop delivered in a crystalline voice.” Mare Wakefield, Performing Songwriter

Knoxville.com raved about Jeannine Hebb saying she, “is a remarkably well-rounded singer/pianist/songwriter. She can put a girlish lilt on her voice, or cut to soulful resonance a la Fiona Apple. Her keyboards dive through pop-friendly melodies, but they’re enriched with jazz intonations. And her lyrics are provocative and complex, balancing heartbreak with dark humor.”

“Paul Phillips live is to immediately be connected to something old, something new and something wonderful all at once.” Jim Trick, Ring Street Records

The event will be emceed by Chris MacIntosh (aka “Grandfather Rock”) of WCWP Radio. Doors open at 7:30 pm., and showtime is at 8pm. While the concert is free, The Stoop will be accepting suggested donations of $12. Receive a free gift with the full suggested cover. All drinks and concessions including beer and wine are inexpensively priced under $4.

The Stoop venue and concert series is presented by Music Forum of Church For All Nations, Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod. Church for All Nations is sponsoring the series in providing the landmark venue as a contribution to the cultural and spiritual life of Hell's Kitchen.
